The complete Indian Ocean.
One seamless journey across Mauritius, Rodrigues, Réunion, Madagascar and the Seychelles — the very best of five islands, designed end to end by your local DMC.
Everything you need to know before booking.
The complete Indian Ocean journey brings together five islands in one seamless trip — Mauritius, Rodrigues, Réunion, Madagascar and the Seychelles. From the lagoons and beaches of Mauritius to the wild volcanoes of Réunion, the untouched authenticity of Rodrigues, the unique wildlife of Madagascar and the granite paradise of the Seychelles, each leg reveals a completely different face of the region.
Connected by short regional flights, these islands combine perfectly into a single adventure. The ideal stay is around 21 days, allowing enough time on each island without rushing — though we tailor the rhythm and order entirely to your pace and interests.
The best window runs from May to November, when most islands enjoy drier, cooler and breezier weather. Because climates vary slightly from one island to another, we'll fine-tune your itinerary to follow the best conditions across the whole route.
Entry requirements
Because this journey crosses several countries, entry rules differ from one island to the next. Mauritius and Rodrigues share the same requirements, Réunion follows French (Schengen) rules, while Madagascar and the Seychelles each have their own.
- Mauritius & Rodrigues — visa-free for most nationalities (60–90 days).
- Réunion — French overseas territory; Schengen-type rules apply.
- Madagascar — visa required for all (on arrival or e-visa).
- Seychelles — no visa, but a free Travel Authorisation is mandatory.
A passport valid well beyond your return date is essential. We provide a clear, island-by-island entry checklist with your itinerary so nothing is left to chance.
