Holidays to Seychelles
Tailor-made getaways to the Seychelles — granite boulders, powder-white beaches, vibrant coral reefs and timeless luxury across 115 islands, designed by Indian Ocean specialists since 1999.
Everything you need to know before booking.
An archipelago of 115 islands scattered across the Indian Ocean north of Madagascar, the Seychelles are split between lush granite islands — among the oldest on Earth — and remote coral atolls. Uninhabited until the 18th century, they were settled by the French and later ruled by the British before gaining independence in 1976, leaving a rich Creole heritage shaped by African, European and Asian influences.
Home to around 100,000 inhabitants, most living on the main island of Mahé around the capital Victoria, the Seychelles speak English, French and Seychellois Creole. The islands are world-famous for their beaches — Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue and Anse Lazio on Praslin among the most photographed on the planet — as well as the Vallée de Mai UNESCO reserve, home to the legendary coco de mer palm, and some of the finest diving in the region.
Blessed with a warm tropical climate year-round (26–32°C), the Seychelles can be visited any time. The shoulder months of April–May and October–November offer the calmest seas, ideal for diving and snorkelling, while sitting between the cooler south-east trade winds (May–October) and the warmer, wetter north-west winds (November–March).
